Overview

Tornado, a premium watch brand known for its bold and modern unisex timepieces, required a digital transformation to convert brand visibility into measurable e-commerce performance. The existing template-based website lacked sophistication and failed to reflect the product craftsmanship and design precision of the brand. The objective was to redesign the platform into a visually refined, product-focused, and conversion-driven experience that strengthens brand perception while driving online sales.

Problem

Despite having active social media presence, Tornado generated zero online sales. The template-based website lacked visual impact, product storytelling depth, and structured e-commerce functionality. Product pages were not optimized for persuasion, checkout flow was fragmented, and mobile responsiveness was inconsistent. The challenge was to transform a passive brand website into a refined digital storefront capable of building trust, showcasing craftsmanship, and driving transactions.

Approach

The redesign focused on combining modern luxury aesthetics with structured e-commerce conversion strategy.

Key strategic decisions included:

  • Creating a bold, high-contrast visual system to reflect brand identity
  • Redesigning product pages to highlight craftsmanship and specifications
  • Introducing clear pricing visibility and prominent purchase CTAs
  • Simplifying checkout flow to reduce friction and abandonment
  • Optimizing mobile-first layouts for seamless browsing and purchasing
